Corolla Lighthouse
II ~ This photo of the Corolla
or Currituck Lighthouse (depending on who you ask or which sign
you read) is from my recent trip to the Outer Banks of North
Carolina. It is the northern light in the Outer Banks set in
a beautiful wooded area. Each of the Atlantic Lights is shaped
and colored differently so ships can tell where they are during
the day. (At night the difference is in the duration and period
of the light.)
