Beacons in the Night ~ Photo of the Tawas Point Lighthouse, in Tawas, Michigan, with the Comet Hale Bopp setting behind the Light. Photo was taken in March of 1997 on a very cold night. Lake effect clouds and snow squalls cleared just at sundown to provide this crystal clear sky. This photo has been one of my most popular. Click on Photo to Enlarge.
